Worth knowing

Why so many IPTV providers let people down

If a service has already gone wrong on you, it was probably one of these three, and all three are baked into how those sellers operate.

  1. 01

    They are middlemen

Plenty of them are buying access from someone else and putting their own logo on it. If that supply gets cut off, your TV goes with it, and the person who took your money has no way of fixing it.

  2. 02

They sell more than they can handle

A £2 a month price only works by squeezing far too many people onto the same equipment. It looks fine on a quiet afternoon. Then Saturday evening arrives and the whole thing gives way.

  3. 03

They go quiet once you have paid

Quick replies while you are deciding, silence once the money has gone. You can usually spot this one in advance by asking a real question and seeing how long the answer takes.

IPTV explained, without the jargon

What is IPTV, in plain English?

IPTV is television that arrives through your broadband instead of an aerial, a satellite dish or a cable. You open an app on your TV, phone or streaming stick, type in the details we send you, and the channels appear exactly as they would on any other TV service. Everything stays inside the house, so there is nothing to fix to the roof and no engineer visit to book.

What is the difference between a provider and a middleman?

A provider looks after the equipment your channels come from, so when something breaks they can go and fix it. A middleman has bought access from someone else and put their own name on it, so the most they can do is pass your message along and wait. Ask a direct question before you pay and you will usually work out which one you are dealing with.

How do I compare UK IPTV providers?

Ignore the channel numbers, because everyone inflates them. Ask instead whether it holds up in the evening, whether the TV guide shows the right times, whether the refund policy is written down anywhere, and whether anyone replies once your money has gone. We set the whole method out separately. How to judge a UK IPTV service

What should it cost?

Roughly £8 to £12 a month on a longer plan, or £10 to £15 for a single month. Ours is £14.99 for 30 days. Be careful with anything near £2 a month. That price only works if the service is packed far beyond what it can carry, which is exactly why those services stop working in the evenings.

Is it safe to buy from a UK provider?

Some are worth your money and some are not, and you can usually tell before you pay. Look for a refund policy you can read, a contact method that belongs to a real business, and a seller happy for you to try one month first. Anyone pushing you straight into a year up front is protecting themselves, not you.

Where does this stand legally?

IPTV itself is perfectly legal. It is just TV sent over the internet, and the big broadcasters use the same technology. What matters is whether you are allowed to watch a particular channel where you live, and that part is down to you. We explain the UK position in full. Is IPTV legal in the UK?

Questions

What people ask before switching

What makes a good IPTV provider in the UK?

Channels that keep working between 7pm and 11pm, a TV guide with the right times on it, a refund policy you can read before paying, and someone who still replies a month later. Channel numbers are the least useful figure on any provider website.

How do I know a UK IPTV provider is genuine?

Ask them something specific before you pay, such as how far back the catch-up goes. A genuine provider gives you a straight answer. A middleman gives you sales talk. After that, check there is a refund policy and a proper business contact you can use.

Are you a provider or a seller?

We look after the service our customers watch on, we handle our own TV guide, and every account is supported by us directly. Nothing gets passed to anyone else, which is why we can give you a straight answer when something goes wrong.

Can I try it before paying for a whole year?

Yes, and we would rather you did. £14.99 gets you 30 days of the full service, the same one our long-term customers use. Nothing renews at the end, so it is a genuine trial and not a quiet sign-up to something longer.

What if it does not work for me?

Message the same WhatsApp number you ordered on and we will try to fix it, usually within a couple of minutes during the day. If we cannot, our 7-day money-back window applies.

Do I need anything special to watch?

Home broadband and a device you already own, such as a Fire Stick, Smart TV, phone or laptop. Around 15 Mbps is enough for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. Everything else you need is on the device already, so there is nothing extra to buy or install.

Try it for one month

Send one message, be watching in about ten minutes, then see how it holds up over a full month of evenings. £14.99 in total, with 7 days to change your mind.
